Rackard League Semi Finals

Our Rackard league camogie team won the New Ross district final for the first time ever. They beat Ramsgrange on a very impressive scoreline to be crowned the champions. On Wednesday 8th June our girls travelled to Belfield in Enniscorthy to compete in the county semi-final. They were up against a very strong opposition- Kilmuckridge. The girls played out of their skin. They hooked, blocked and fought hard to win the game on a scoreline of 2-4 to 1-0.

Our girls are now through to the county final for the first time ever . The final will take place on Tuesday 21st June at 5.45pm in Wexford park. This is a great honour and achievement for the girls. All support is very welcome. We are very proud of our girls. They have done themselves, their parents, school and parish very proud. We wish the girls all the best in the county final and remember no matter what the outcome ( win, loose or draw) let's not forget that 2016 has been a very successful year for camogie in Cushinstown NS. Well done girls and best of luck in the final.
